In order to be a true champion, a horse must first practice, and the practice track is the place to do it. It is also recommended you workout your horse before you enter a race as well, to ensure that your horse has a better shot at winning.

The city surrounding the racetracks is a place for people, and sometimes horses, to just enjoy socializing with others in the area. This is the place where interactions are at their highest.

At the end of summer every sim year, the best three-year-olds of that year will be invited to race in the Triple Crown races. Very few horses win all three races. A horse able to win the Triple Crown carry that with them the rest of their lives and are renowned as the best horses of their time.

At the beginning of every sim year, yearlings are chosen to run in the Pevensly prospect Cup based on their sire and dam as well as their siblings performances on the track.

At the end of the sim year, the Woodhull Turf Challenge is held in order to see what two-year old is the best of the best on the turf. There are three races in total, each varying in length.

At the end of every sim year horses are chosen by the staff and awarded different awards. But the top award everyone is aiming for, is Horse of the Year. While the others are an honor to get, the Horse of the Year is who everyone remembers.
