This is the first race of the Triple Crown. It is held on a 8 furlong stretch of turf. It is the most well known of the three races, but is far from the hardest.

Kennicot Stakes

This is the second of the three races in the Triple Crown. It is run on a 10 furlong turf track, there are various horses who win both the blackwood Derby and Kennicot Stakes, but there is more to come.

Halifax Stakes

The last and longest of all the Triple Crown races. This race is run on dirt track and is 12 furlongs. Very few horses who win the Blackwood Derby as well as the Kennicot Stakes also manage to win the Halifax Stakes.

Triple Crown
At the end of summer every sim year, the best three-year-olds of that year will be invited to race in the Triple Crown races. Very few horses win all three races. A horse able to win the Triple Crown carry that with them the rest of their lives and are renowned as the best horses of their time.
